i'm with you all the way

Wilkommen

Aufsteigende Flügel is German for "Soaring Wings", a beautiful piano piece composed by Masashi Hamauzu. It is a retreat, a place for me to speak my mind, my thoughts, and my ideas. I bid you all welcome and please, enjoy your stay while you can.

In case you're wondering, the song you hear playing in the background is called Memories, composed and performed by Kow Otani for the best PS2 game of all time, Shadow of the Colossus. This was one of the many unused tracks from the game, so I thought I might do it justice playing this lovely track here. It may take a while to load, but please pause it and give it a good listen. Otani makes good music (unfortunately, this is the only one I know of), and this is one of them. Enjoy!

Ah, 'tis the 8th of March and I've been keeping to this skin. Knowing me, I would be changing it every week, or a fortnight, or something. Nevertheless, I think it's time I say my farewells to this skin. It's been stuck with me for quite a while, and I believe it is old enough to be on its way to...a heaven of skins, whatsoever.

At any rate, I'm just happy that the Opposition are fighting back! Yes! And Samy Vellu's (hope I got the name right) down!

Oh well, that's enough about the country. I'm just praying for a better future in the hands of another. LOL, my uncle even sent a thank you message to my Mother for voting the Opposition party. I heard from my Father that my Uncle's a socialist, or something. Then again, he's not entirely related to me, just by title. Heck. He's still awesome.

Right, moving on. Let's head back down to earth, shall we?

My degree course has finally begun (I know I should've said this on Monday or Tuesday, but heck) and so far, everything seems fine. Miss Natasha proved to be a very interesting lecturer, and like what Chel did, I choose to make her my role model as well. She's wonderful, brilliant, and very inspiring.

She pretty much filled in the gaps of my future. At least now I know what to expect later when I enter the next phase in life, the working life.

Other than that, nothing much changed (literally. I can still use my old ID on the computers). Everyone's just the same, perhaps with a little bit of changes here and there. Otherwise, they're still as how I remember them to be. My friends.

Aah...the song floats in my head. Hansard's and Irglova's Falling Slowly constantly repeats its tunes. And I succumb to it.

Such beautiful song...

Uh...just listening to the live version of it. Here. Enjoy!
