i'm with you all the way

Wilkommen

Aufsteigende Flügel is German for "Soaring Wings", a beautiful piano piece composed by Masashi Hamauzu. It is a retreat, a place for me to speak my mind, my thoughts, and my ideas. I bid you all welcome and please, enjoy your stay while you can.

In case you're wondering, the song you hear playing in the background is called Memories, composed and performed by Kow Otani for the best PS2 game of all time, Shadow of the Colossus. This was one of the many unused tracks from the game, so I thought I might do it justice playing this lovely track here. It may take a while to load, but please pause it and give it a good listen. Otani makes good music (unfortunately, this is the only one I know of), and this is one of them. Enjoy!

Close Call

It's 12 minutes to 10am...and I'm still at home.

Yes, there is no class today. But I STILL have to go to campus, simply because I was called for an interview. It's an important interview because if all goes well, our course will be fully accredited and recognized anywhere in Malaysia. Hehehe, it all comes down to us.

Knowing me, I have lots to say about our campus and such, but, uh...well, I have to be mindful of others. Can't be too selfish now, can I?

Oh well, Father will be going back to Jakarta today and I'll get the auto car, huzzah! =D Not that I hate manual cars, no, don't get me wrong. I love manual cars as well, it's just that...right now, when my legs are sore and my stomach just...squeezes itself inside me, I don't think driving a manual car is all right for me. Minutes before this post, I was out on an errand when I almost hit this car entering the lane.

Well, I was speeding, in a way. But that guy just suddenly went SWOOSH to the left and I was left with no choice but to do an emergency brake. My tyres screeched as I braked. Luckily, I didn't touch his car.

Sheesh, that idiot. Idiots, the lots of them. And once more, I felt my stress level growing. Period is not enough, no, THIS IDIOT HAD TO-

...

All right, I'll stop.

I'm back home now, and I feel absolutely fine. Just...don't put me on the road behind the wheels of a manual car when I'm not in a good mood.

Anyway, I should be getting my laptop by today. I need it terribly for my works, and I don't want to depend on my Mom's teeny-weeny VAIO. Though it is light, it seems terribly...odd to me. My regular buttons are misplaced, so it took me a while to get used to it.

Oh well, this is today. I'm looking forward to meatballs tonight. =)
Until then, farewell.
