Colour Me Sepia.
Ah, sepia. Such a beautiful effect. Vintage, one might say. Classic, the other. Timeless, everyone else. Well, yes, different people have different views. But for me, I've found perfection in sepia. Oh, no, don't get me wrong, black and white is beautiful as well. But I suppose it'll take me a little getting used to for b&w. For now, I'll start with sepia. And it all began when I was composing a song on the piano. The tunes didn't really fit the lyrics of the song so I stopped and stared into empty space for a while. Then I saw my phone, and decided to play around with the effects. I tried b&w and it didn't really bring out the effect that I wanted. Negative was overrated O.o. Then came sepia... Well, I thought that was the end of it. But today, I went to Genting Highlands. Early in the morn. My mind was a little fuzzy though, but when I noticed the terribly thick fogs as Mom drove on, the one thing that appeared in my mind was... "Please don't crash, Please don't crash, Please don't crash, Please don't crash, Please don't crash, Please don't crash, Please don't crash, Please don't crash, Please don't crash, Please don't crash, Please don't crash, Please don't crash, Please don't crash, Please don't crash," But heck, everything was fine after that. We got free unlimited entry passes from our uncle who works there and then the group separated into two. I went off with my sister and cousin while the rest went off with mom. Yes, we did the usual stuff, yada yada, rides and such. But it was about to rain at one moment, and at the same time, the fog was still there. My whole body was freezing from the cold winds (no, I'm not stupid, I brought my huge RM5 jacket with me) because I lent my jacket to my lil' cousin. Blehh, me and my tolerance for the cold. I was just showing off to my sister that I can adapt to the cold. Honestly, I WAS freezing. And I was lagging from behind. But hey, I got a splendid view of the thick fog. It was beautiful so I decided to take a few pictures of it. And it was then that I found out how horrible it looked on normal, so I played with the effects and found my love for sepia once more. Aiman's first thoughts: SILENT HILL! I went closer and got this. It really looks abandoned. Nana (sister): Where's everyone? Misha (cousin): I don't know. I don't see anyone. =S But by then, my two models found out my secret work. XD Clearly they looked annoyed. XD But at the same time, the roller coaster was not open, so that adds to their frustration. Oh well. It was yet another tiring day. But I was really impressed by my pictures. Oh well, hope to work on these more. Over and out. |
