i'm with you all the way

Wilkommen

Aufsteigende Flügel is German for "Soaring Wings", a beautiful piano piece composed by Masashi Hamauzu. It is a retreat, a place for me to speak my mind, my thoughts, and my ideas. I bid you all welcome and please, enjoy your stay while you can.

In case you're wondering, the song you hear playing in the background is called Memories, composed and performed by Kow Otani for the best PS2 game of all time, Shadow of the Colossus. This was one of the many unused tracks from the game, so I thought I might do it justice playing this lovely track here. It may take a while to load, but please pause it and give it a good listen. Otani makes good music (unfortunately, this is the only one I know of), and this is one of them. Enjoy!

A New Blog?

Well, it IS a new blog, but no worries about changing the link to this, I'm still sticking to Blogger. That is a WordPress blog, one that requires a proper website for me to put it up. And to actually GET a proper website requires me to pay. Knowing that I do not deal with online transactions because I fear the hackers (and I don't have a credit card ;_; ), that idea will not come to mind.

However, if SOMEONE hosted a website and does a sort of extension to allow me to upload a WordPress in it, then yes, that would be possible.

And also, that was the case. My dear friend, Elven (I met him in LimitRO), made a new server and a website for his RO (Ragnarok Online) server. I don't actually know how the whole linkety-link thing occur, but for some reason, he offered me a WordPress blog.

From what I have managed to gather from his explanation, it seems that WordPress is a much more serious blog, a professional blog, as he said it. This is so because I am on my own, using my own website hosting thingie (well, it's his, actually, but it's still individually owned, in a way~), and with this, it shows that I am not fully dependent on Blogger.

Oh, no, I'm not dissing all you Blogger-users out there. But it seems to me that if I continue to be dependent on Blogger, I will be lacking in experience when it comes to professional blogging. After all, I can't just use Blogger if I plan to post up anything that has to do with work.

And from what my friend Elven told me, he said it would help me gain experience since I am currently doing my journalism course.

Well, first of all, I would like to really really thank Elven for all this.

Secondly, I do hope I can master the whole of WordPress by the end of this month. Its contents and...the way it functions are far more complicating than Blogger.

Hehe, I suppose he really meant what he said when he told me it was a "professional blog".

Yes. Complicating-ly professional.

My WordPress blog will be focusing more on serious issues such as the news and others. So, yes, don't expect my emo ramblings to move there. They will all stay here, I tell ya. Right here, in Blogger, where it will not disrupt my growing up process~ XD

Well, that's about it. Expect no updates from my WP until after week 4, where all my assignments will be finished and handed up.

Until then, so long and farewell~
